Addison Gallery Tour: Figure/Ground

Join Assistant Curator Rachel Vogel for a tour and discussion of the exhibition at the Addison Gallery of American Art.

Featuring works from the museum’s collection, Figure/Ground examines the interconnection between individuals and their environments, offering a multifaceted view of the human experience in relation to the spaces we inhabit. The varied scenes, from urban landscapes to pastoral country sides, invite narrative and prompt reflection on the ways we relate to our own environments.

This exhibition will be on display at the Addison from September 14, 2024-March 2, 2025. 

Please note that this event is taking place at the Addison Gallery of American Art located on the campus of Phillips Academy.

Space is limited and registration is required. A repeat of this tour will take place on February 5, 2025.
