Spend an afternoon learning about the wonders of African Art! Jean Borgatti, Consulting Curator at the Fitchburg Art Museum, will delve in to a different aspect of African Art each month.
This talk looks forms and materials used in African art. The African art that is most familiar in the west are 3-dimensional carvings, however, 2-dimensional design was equally important. It took the form of wall-painting, textiles, and body decoration.
