The Discover Your Past Genealogy Club meets the second Thursday of every month.
Join us online for a presentation by Alex Krakovsky.
Alex Krakovsky is a Jewish Ukranian genealogist and freedom of information activist who has been working for more than 15 years to advocate for releasing vital records from restrictive access laws. Together with a grass roots open-records network, Krakovsky has scanned and published millions of Ukrainian metrical book records (church records) and census records. The war in Ukraine has made Alex's work more difficult, urgent and significant. Alex will join the group online to explain his work and take questions.
Registration is required to receive the Zoom webinar link.
