Join us for another great afternoon of music with Jeff Buckridge's Uke Joint!
Jeff Buckridge is a professional musician/educator who has been playing professionally for over 30 years and teaching music in the Andover Public School System for 26 years. A trained jazz guitarist, Jeff discovered a passion for playing ukulele after a visit to Hawaii in the early 2000s. He formed Jeff Buckridge's Uke Joint in 2010, a three piece group playing Jazz, Latin, pop standards, Hawaiian, and Reggae, among the many styles he interprets on the ukulele. The group has played various concert series and festivals, and have released an album including standards and original compositions. He has also done many ukulele clinics at events like the annual Ukulele Melee and the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival. He is joined by bassist Ed Spargo and drummer Erick Cifuentes.
This concert is funded by the Friends of Memorial Hall Library.
Seating is available on a first-come basis. Doors open at 2:15pm.
