Join curator Dana Miller at the Addison Gallery of American Art to explore the exhibition Both Sides of the Line: Carmen Herrera & Leon Polk Smith.
Both Sides of the Line, organized by the University of Michigan Museum of Art, explores how artists Carmen Herrera and Leon Polk Smith redefined the visual language of modern art. Their perspectives intersect, diverge, and resonate, offering new ways to understand abstraction, identity, and the power of friendship.
This program is free and open to the public; space is limited and registration is required.
After the tour, all are welcome to stay for an Opening Reception for the Winter Exhibitions, from 4:00-6:00pm at the Addison Gallery.
