Memorial HallAuthor Anne Gardner will join the MHL community for a discussion on her experience of walking the famed 500-mile Camino de Santiago.
Her book on this extraordinary journey, And So I Walked (Adelaide Books, NY/Lisbon), recounts the challenges, both physical and emotional, her time on the trail revealed.
Chosen by Boston.com as a former "Top Twelve Summer Reads" selection, Gardner's debut book is part of a wider writing portfolio. Her freelance work has been featured by various outlets including NPR, The Boston Globe, The Providence Journal, among others.
Having spent twelve years as the Director of Spiritual and Religious Life at Phillips Academy, Andover, Gardner is thrilled to be back to share her story with the Andover community.
