Learn the best plants to attract pollinators to your gardens.

Suzanne Mahler will share lovely images of butterflies, bees, hummingbirds, and flowering plants, and discuss the importance of native species, and the growing threats and stressors to these essential wildlife visitors.

Suzanne Mahler has been developing her 1.5 acre property for 45 years and is an avid plant collector with extensive collections of woody plants and perennials including more than 300 daylily cultivars and 250 varieties of hostas. She has been sharing her passion for gardening for more than 35 years, having spoken at the Boston, Rhode Island, and New England Spring Flower Shows, Art in Bloom at the Museum of Fine Arts, the Environmental Protection Agency, and garden clubs and organizations throughout the New England area. Suzanne is past President of the New England Daylily Society, an Overseer for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, Horticulture Chair for the Garden Club Federation, and works part-time at a local garden center.

This program is a partnership between the Andover Seed Library and the Andover Village Garden Club.
