Jeffrey Urbin, Education Specialist at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum will discuss how Labor Secretary Frances Perkins influenced the labor movement.

Prior to the New Deal, American workers had little power and few protections in the workplace. This session explores how FDR's historic Labor Secretary Frances Perkins changed the balance of power between workers and management to improve working conditions and usher in the modern labor movement. Led by Jeffrey Urbin, Education Specialist at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum.
