Teens can submit up to three poems for our contest!

Teens and tweens in grades 6 - 12 are invited to submit up to three original poems for our annual Teen Poetry Contest! Submissions are open from Monday, March 13 to Monday, April 3 at poetry.mhl.org.

Patrons do not have to be Andover residents to enter the contest but need to be able to pick up any potential prizes in person. Gift cards to the Andover Bookstore are awarded to first, second, and third place for both the middle school and high school categories.

We will notify entrants if they won, received an honorable mention, or didn't receive anything this year by Wednesday, May 3. 

The reception and reading will be Wednesday, May 10 at 7:00 pm and all entrants, families, and community members are invited.

This is not an in-person program but rather just a listing noting that the contest is now open for submissions.
