The Teen Room will host a "Retro Night" for teens to sample snacks from bygone eras and help assemble a time capsule that will be opened in 50 years!

Tweens and teens are invited to stop by anytime from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm - the library is staying open late to party! - to celebrate the library's 150th birthday. We will have old-timey candy and snacks, retro video games, and the opportunity for tweens and teens to contribute to a time capsule to be opened in 50 years.

For the time capsule, please bring small, nonperishable items that represent time in Andover in 2023. There will be cameras and printers for pictures for the time capsule but patrons can bring other items, like bookmarks, pencils, and more. We will also have a notebook where you can write or draw memories of your time in the Teen Room.

Open to teens in grades 6 - 12.
