Known today primarily as the author of 1984 and Animal Farm, George Orwell was a brilliant journalist who wrote dozens of other books, essays, and newspaper features.

Explore his large body of work -- from the classics to his lesser-known writings -- and examine the social impact of his career.

Led by Dr. Bill Thierfelder, a retired college professor who taught a variety of Arts and Humanities courses for 32 years at several New York universities and colleges, including St. John's University and Dowling College. He holds a Ph.D. in English, with minors in theater, art history and music history. 

NOTE: This program will be recorded. All registrants will receive the recording via email within 24 hours of the program. This program is in partnership with Tewksbury Public Library
