Join us for a virtual series of mindfulness and meditation practices on Friday afternoons.
Participants are welcome to find a quiet, comfortable space to relax and join mindfulness teacher, Lauren, for a calming Friday lunch break.
Practice clearing your mind, being in the present moment and reducing stress. You will learn how to practice daily mindfulness and calm your mind and body with meditation. Participants will be introduced, and guided through, a different type of meditation each class.
Classes are held virtually via Zoom on 6/7, 6/14, 6/21, and 6/28. Register for one or all of the sessions.
6/7 - Progressive Muscle Relaxation
6/14 - Movement Meditation
6/21 - Internal Observation: A Mindful Awareness Meditation
6/28 - Nature Visualization (ft. breathwork and mantra meditation)
Sessions will be recorded and available on the library's website a few days after each session.
