Join us for a look at some of the most famous of Massachusetts paranormal, cryptozoological, and plain weird incidents throughout the state’s history.
Every state has its ghost stories, but no other state has the Dover Demon or the Salem Witch Trials. From sea-side ghosts, to UFOs over the Berkshires, Massachusetts has a rich history of paranormal legend, odd events, and strange denizens.
Presented by Sarah Hodge-Wetherbe, aka Panels by Geekgal. By day, Sarah is the head librarian for teen services with the Springfield, MA city library, but as Geekgal she tours around New England lecturing on various aspects of geek culture. She's performed for all sorts of venues from The Norman Rockwell Museum to the Massachusetts Library Association. She has also staffed many conventions, including a three year stint as head of guest relations at Anime Boston.
