As part of our continuing webinar series, “You’ve Been Dying To Know About …”, join us for a discussion presenting a clear and compassionate overview of cremation.
In Massachusetts, cremation now accounts for about 58% of dispositions. Our goal with this program is to cover the step-by-step cremation process and Massachusetts legal requirements.
The discussion will cover the full range of options (direct cremation, services before cremation, and cremation followed by a memorial service), what families need to have ready before a death occurs, and the benefits of pre-planning, how it works in Massachusetts, and practical next steps such as scattering, burial, keepsakes, and eco-friendly alternatives, all designed to help attendees make informed, confident decisions for themselves and their loved ones.
This program will be presented by Robert Chase and Andrew Gourdeau.
Robert Chase, the owner of Methuen Family Funeral Home in Methuen, MA. Robert has over 30 years of experience in funeral service, holding licenses as a funeral director in both Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. In addition, he is a licensed attorney in Massachusetts, allowing him to provide clear, knowledgeable guidance through the legal aspects of end-of-life arrangements.
Andrew Gourdeau, is the Director of Community Education and Operations Manager at Methuen Family Funeral Home. Andy entered funeral service in 1995 and joined Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home in 2000. In 2005 he was ordained an American Catholic Priest, later earning his Doctorate of Divinity, and, in 2020, being commissioned as a bishop.
Ample time will be provided for questions and answers following their presentation.
This program will be recorded. A link to the recording will be shared with everyone who registers.
