Loretta and Susan (Two Nerdy History Girls) will discuss the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and the everyday lives of people who lived through this era.

We will learn how the war upended the lives of everyday people. 

Loretta Chase has worked in academe, retail, and the visual arts, as well as in video, as a scriptwriter. Her bestselling historical romances, set in the Regency and Romantic eras of the early nineteenth century, have won a number of awards, including the Romance Writers of America’s RITA® and Vivian®. 

Susan Holloway Scott is the author of over fifty historical novels and novellas. Her bestselling books have received numerous awards and honors, and with more than four million copies of her books in print, she has been published in nineteen foreign countries around the world. She has also written under the pseudonyms Isabella Bradford and Miranda Jarrett.
