Canadian Citizenship by Descent with Michael J. Leclerc, CG
Documenting Ancestry to Establish Proof of Citizenship
Tuesday, November 10
7:00pm - 8:30pm
With a significant change in Canadian citizenship law in December 2025, millions of Americans became eligible for Canadian citizenship.
The process of getting your Proof of Citizenship documents can be challenging without advice from an experienced expert. Whether your ancestors were French-Canadians, Anglo-Canadians, or from other heritage groups, the process is the same for everyone. Michael Leclerc has been researching families in Canada for forty years and regularly works with official IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship, Canada) agents to help clients with their genealogical documentation questions. Join us for a Zoom webinar to learn the steps you need to take to complete the research and paperwork necessary to complete your application to obtain your Canadian citizenship papers.
