Join library staff for a "Book Tasting" to sample a variety of frequently challenged and banned children's books.

What is a book tasting? It’s an event where people come and “taste” different books and genres as if they are sampling from a literary buffet. At this event, staff will guide you through a tasting menu of 9 frequently challenged children's books.

We hope to pique your appetite for a good read with a great discussion! Come with an open mind and be ready to expand your reading palate.

This event is one of three book tastings for an adult audience focusing on the freedom to read.
