Mary shares the story of her journey with her husband Jim through his Alzheimer's diagnosis.
In Mary's book, "You Make a Big Good," she shares her personal experiences of loving someone with Alzheimer's. It is heavy and dark and devastating at times. At other times, a spark of the real Jim shines through, and the weight is lifted. Much of the book is made up of direct quotes taken from notes made during her daily visits with Jim as she learned to navigate life during the two and a half years that he was in Memory Care.
With this book, Mary hopes to reach others who may be feeling the heartbreak, confusion, and pain that accompanies this disease, reminding them that they do not walk alone.
