Fish On! Andover is back! Join us Tuesday nights in February for great fishing talks!
With more than 30 years of experience chasing striped bass on the Massachusetts coast, Eric Harrison has watched the fishery evolve. In recent years it has become apparent from both observation and recent striped bass studies that the resource is facing challenges. This talk brings together the latest striped bass research from the past several years and translates it into practical, on-the-water ideas for anglers to apply. We’ll look at what recent studies reveal about changes to the striped bass population and catch‑and‑release mortality, and how fishermen can use these insights to both increase their success and reduce their impact on a stressed stock. Drawing on decades of lure‑focused, catch‑and‑release experience, Eric will talk about how anglers can remain successful, protect the resource, and contribute to a healthier future for striped bass. Eric writes the Kayak Corner column for On The Water magazine and has instructional videos on the Hogy Lures YouTube channel.
Join us for other Fish On! events on Tuesday, February 10th and Tuesday, February 17th.
