Join us to learn tips for sorting, curating, and protecting your printed photo collection.
We all have them — boxes, bins, or albums full of printed photos from our parents, grandparents, and even our own childhoods. These snapshots hold the stories of our lives and the lives that came before us. But without care, they risk being lost to time.
You'll learn how to become your family’s “story keeper,” why it’s important to digitize photos to preserve them, and how doing so can help you share these memories with relatives near and far.
We’ll explore the ABCs of photo organizing and even practice together using examples from the presenter's own family archive. Whether you’re just getting started or already knee-deep in photo boxes, this workshop will help you take the next step in preserving your family’s history, one photo at a time.
This program is presented by Stephanie Maze-Hsu, a Professional Certified Photo Manager. youramazingmemories.com
We will hold a separate program on organizing digital photos on Wednesday, November 12th.
Funding for these programs is provided by the Friends of Memorial Hall Library.
